New York's Hotel Pennsylvania to Complete $7 Million Renovation for 2008

NEW YORK, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Having recently begun renovations to the property, New York's Hotel Pennsylvania, The World's Most Popular Hotel(R), will complete its planned $7 million renovation in 2008. As it prepares for the New Year, the Hotel continues renovations and upgrades to enhance its commitment to offering true accommodation value to its guests.

    The renovations and upgrades already begun in 2007 include:
    -- Improvements to the exterior facade of the Hotel (you will note the
       scaffolding erected around the property);

Well thats old news, they just ran out of information about the hotel so they posted that.  But here is an interesting tip.  NY1 reported this morning that developers have asked Macy's if they would move out of their landmarked 100+ year old building in Herald Square, to the new Post Office. 

This is an plot by the mid town developers, to take over all the property in that area.  You wait and see if Macy's says yes, you see how fast that building landmarked or not comes down.
